The flush on her cheeks caught his eye, and broadened his smile. Almost unable to help himself, he lifted his hand to her once more, reverently cupping her cheek, fingers sliding just enough to hold her still. Leaning in towards her, Daemon paused, gaze falling to her mouth, but instead of simply taking what he wanted, he murmured, "Will you let me?"
Because by all the gods that had ever existed, he wanted to.
